Even though Side is mostly famous with its resorts and Mediterranean coasts and beaches, many tourists who relax on the seaside like to discover the area. Side is a small city and there are not many neighborhoods. However, there are a number of landmarks to discover in the City Center that will make your stay even more interesting. Apart from numerous restaurants with local food, where you can enjoy cheap dishes and stunning sunsets from terraces, you can visit the historical centre with the Appolo temple and the ruins of the Greek amphitheater. The area is quite touristy as many travellers come on excursions from other regions. You’ll also find hotels near City Centre, even though not that many.
